* Whether you’re into salsa, country two-step, swing, waltz, foxtrot, rumba, nightclub two-step, or some other style, you can grow by learning this sequence. Adaptive learning makes this great for both complete beginners and experienced dancers.

** Creative Workout: Want a workout that grows not only muscle* but also ability to use those muscles? (*and cardio health) A workout that you do just for fun?

Starting 2027, Dance Orangeville plans to expand – as a non-profit with a board of directors – growing opportunities for diverse social and artistic dancing in Dufferin.

Fall 2026 will look something like the following – our schedule from Winter 2026:

Classes
Monday 7–8: “Around the World” Beginner Partnering
Monday 8–9: Group* and Solo** Dances
Tuesday 7–8: Beginner Partnering
Tuesday 8–9: Intermediate Partnering
Thursday 7–8: You Tell Us! Students’ Choice.
Thursday 8–9: Creative Workout***

* Group dances (for example): Salsa Rueda, Waltz Mixers, Barn Dances
** Solo dancing: “Steps to Freedom” – a blend of structure and open movement
(also highly recommended for improving partnering dance skills)
*** Creative Workout:  Cardio, strength, and flexibility through creative movement. While traditional weightlifting isolates muscles to move in a single plane, The Creative Workout taps the power of coordinating multiple muscle groups and recycling energy from gravity. We don’t just grow muscles — we grow abilities, fun, and power. Grow skills while you grow health.
Class content adapts to participants’ interests, drawing inspiration from movement that flows and spirals across the floor (think yoga in motion), dance lifts, martial arts, and partner workouts. Gentle or athletic — your choice. All welcome!

Locations:
