At Canada’s most awe-inspiring residence / event venue – Windrush Estate Winery – 4 minutes east of Hockley – “Dance Around the World in 80 Days” is getting a 2-hour “executive summary”. Young? Old? Highly-trained? Never trained? All welcome.

Dance Orangeville’s Jonathon Neville will teach a unique lesson that integrates highlights from different dances, giving the fundamentals that enable improvised solo and partner dancing to diverse music.

Lesson, open dance and socializing – total 2 hours. Teachers available to dance with you, whatever your level. Supportive community – absolute beginners with 3 left feet will have a great time.

* Mondays 7-8 at Westminster – Spring Swing (The wide world of swing and blues dancing – for Spring) – starts April 15.

* Mondays 8-9 – Creative Workout – rotating between Floor Flow (like flow yoga but traveling across the floor in dozens of playful/graceful ways), MovNat (natural movement for every body), and Contact Improv (where partners share weight and dance happens as both follow the shared centre of gravity – born from martial arts but often gentle or playful; optionally can include flying).

TORONTO:  We also run “Around the World” in Toronto – Dovercourt House, near Bloor and Dufferin.  Tuesday evenings, 7-8 and 8-9.
